Kanchanaburi Deep: Erawan, Hellfire Pass and the Kwai Noi

- Day 1Erawan / Kwai Yai raft house· 195 km
Bangkok 07:00, M81 motorway to Kanchanaburi (130 km, under 2h door to door now). Thailand–Burma Railway Centre and Don Rak war cemetery, the bridge over the River Kwai, lunch; drive 65 km to Erawan National Park and walk the seven tiers (be at tier 1 by 13:00 — upper tiers close 15:00–16:00).
- Day 2Kwai Noi raft house, Sai Yok· Route 323 north
Hellfire Pass Memorial Museum and the walk down through the Konyu cutting (09:00–16:00, donation), Sai Yok Yai waterfall, Lawa Cave or the Hin Dat hot spring. Sleep on a Kwai Noi raft house at Sai Yok.
- Day 3Home· ~200 km
Morning on the river, then the Nam Tok–Tham Krasae train over the Wampo timber viaduct, home by 18:00. Total ~520 km.
